I was a fan of Modi.. but not anymore.

I was a fan of Modi, but not anymore. In 2013, I wasn't a fan of Modi. In 2014, I wasn't a fan of Modi, but Modi won, and I…

I was a fan of Modi, but not anymore.

In 2013, I wasn’t a fan of Modi.

In 2014, I wasn’t a fan of Modi, but Modi won, and I hated it because I was the same woke leftist guy who believed everything that was going on in the world and didn’t know the truth of the incidents which were told to me, like the Godhra incident.

But then I read a few books and decided to research on my own, and realized that Modi was not the kind of evil that people portray him to be.

I started supporting him, and it has been more than 10 years that I have been supporting him on each and everything.

But lately, something has happened. I don’t trust him anymore.

Trust would be a strong word. I won’t say that I don’t trust him anymore.

I would say that I feel that the mandate that people had given him, the expectations that people have, he hasn’t met them completely.

Either he is blinded by the power, or he has lost touch with the ground realities which he once had.

He is not putting a stop to the mouths of his ministers, who are randomly saying things which are not in sync with the general public.

First, there was an issue of reservation, which they handled really badly in the UGC.

Then there was the ethanol issue.

Then there is the UPI issue.

Every issue was dealt with really badly.

On top of that, the arrogance with which the ministers keep on saying that everything is going all right, everything is working well, is what is hitting the fan because things are not well.

Things could have been well.

The problem is that the BJP government is focusing on the major issues only, the international issues, putting up factories, putting up manufacturing setups, and going on foreign trips to meet foreign dignitaries.

They are doing great work there, but the bigger problem comes here when you don’t focus on the small things which are bothering people, the micro things which could have been solved by now.

They appear to be things which can be solved anytime and are not much of a bother, but they actually are, like corruption in bureaucracy.

When a poor man sees the collector of a city living a king-size life, and then, some day, in the newspapers, you see that there are headlines of the same collector taking bribes of more than 20 crores, 30 crores, and by the end of his career, he has a huge bungalow.

His kids are on a trip to foreign lands and studying in foreign universities. The same goes for the ministers as well, and they all have too much money.

It starts to bother your mind, and then you start to question your life choices.

Did you support this man because you supported honesty and you believed that he was going to change this world, and nothing happened?

I was looking at a video of Politician Brij Bhushan Yadav, some minister from Bihar, or maybe he is from UP, I don’t remember.

The amount of money that he has, the fleet of cars that he has, and he does not have a rich background.

It was not that his father was a rich person.

This is all he has accumulated during his political career only. He also has a helipad in his house where helicopters can come. He has a huge house. These are all things that bother me.

I think that what Tukaram Munde is doing in Mumbai should have been done 10 years ago.

Why is food adulteration allowed in India?

Why is quality deterioration allowed in India?

Why can’t quality be checked?

Why can’t there be punishments to scare these people from doing all these kinds of things?

On top of that, there are no reforms in the judiciary as well. Every time the government wants to do something, the judiciary comes in between and stops it.

Every time the judiciary is trying to do something, the government won’t support it.

There is no relationship between these two, and no matter how much we say that the judiciary is independent, we know it is not independent.

People have their own dreams and desires, and sometimes political ambitions as well. We know that.

However, I am a right-winger.

Still, I am a right-winger, but there are certain things that bother me.

On top of that is food adulteration and corruption, and very small things like changing the costumes of the police and giving them better gear. I know it would take a lot of expenditure and might be a huge task, so why not do it with 100 people?

Just give 100 highly exclusive cars to the police and see what the reaction is.

Make the police station much cleaner with AC and all these kinds of things.

Right now, they look like bhooth bungalows, and no one can work with a calm and peaceful mind and have pride in the organization, which does not even look good.

It is very necessary that the police stations in India should start looking good, clean, better, painted, with better infrastructure, with ACs, glass doors, and all these kinds of things.

The police officers are well dressed in fitted suits, with extra gadgets attached to them, and they would start feeling proud about what they are doing.

For example, the accountant bill: no one takes the job of accountant bill very seriously. That’s a big problem.

Yes, that’s why I started.

There are a lot more reasons, but these are the few reasons why I started distrusting Modi. Am I going to vote for Modi again in 2029?

I will, because I have no choice.

I am left with no choice. On the other side are Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi, who are like the worst politicians that can ever exist, who don’t even care about India.

Arvind Kejriwal is like one of the worst things that has happened to Indian politics.

I used to support him back in 2014, but I don’t anymore, and I will never, ever, ever support Arvind Kejriwal.

My only reason for supporting the Modi government right now is because there is no opposition. There is not a single person in the opposition whom I look up to and say, “If this comes in front as a leader of opposition, I will vote for him.”

There is not a single person in the opposition today for whom I want to vote.

The only reason I am going to vote for Modi is because there is no opposition, not because I want to trust Modi or I trust the BJP government. I don’t anymore.

I know they are not doing good work. They are doing work better than the previous parties, but the thing that they could have done is not something that they have done.

This is it from my side today.
