Dhurandhar 2 is a volcano of a movie. It erupts all the right emotions at the hot right time.
You will love all the action sequences because they look damn too real.
The story moves at fast pace accompanied by the music which makes it all the more pacy.
Ranveer Singh has hit it out of the park with his acting in this film. There is nothing in this film which you won’t like about him or the film as a whole.
I didn’t miss Akshaye Khanna for even a single moment. I didn’t find him exception in the first film either. He was good but the kind of hype which was created around him was way exaggerated in my opinion.
Arjun Rampal does great acting but despite his baritone voice and subtle acting, why don’t I find him impressive. I think it is because he is not loud. The louder the actor is the more we find him great.
In contrast, Ranveer challenges this theory and plays it loud despite no dialogues but with face expressions. Ranveer kills it with his eyes and expressions. This is birth of an actor.
Who said film industry will die after Khans. This is the time of two Rans- Ranveer and Ranbeer.
To support him there is another Dhurandhar actor called Rakesh Bedi.
Who would have thought that an actor like Rakesh Bedi will rejuvenate from ashes in his good olden days when most actors only wish some work as extra comes to them and are resorted to humiliating and embarrassing roles.
Remember Al Pacino from Jack and Jill. Yeah, exactly.
Sara Arjun has nothing to do in the film yet she performs in this minor role and there are no other female faces you will remember.
You can count female characters in the film on your fingertips, but even those who are there have no special roles in the film.
I am not saying females are not needed in a film like this. They are well much needed but it is a man’s world, created by men, wronged by men and complicated by men and hence needs to be solved by men. Woman plays no role here.
The kind of mental manipulation and physical violence which is there in the film cannot be done by females to this extent.
More females in the film would only weaken the plot of the film.
Madhavan as Ajit Sanyal has also made an impact and it seems he has the best dialogues with him.
The cool and calm demeanor he carries throughout the film makes it worthy of attention of cinema lovers.
This film in not complete without this Krishna, Ajit Sanyal who masterminds everything and who guards his asset in the foreign country like he is his own son.
I have read that people are calling screenplay to be good, but surprisingly who are saying the writing of the film is good have never read the screenplay of the film.
Film writing, no matter how much importance is given to it, is a minor part of screenwriting. Most directors don’t even follow what is written on the paper and most actors don’t recite what is given in screenplay.
It will be a bliss if a director remains true to the writings on the paper and not even change the editing on the paper. But that is rare.
The film won’t be liked by the leftists. The right wingers, Modi supporters and patriotic people will love the film.
