There are many concepts I have worked upon. Some failed while some worked.
But the accumulation of them made me lead forward.
I call this process successful failure.
I made some systems for me like watch 1000 minutes of python, finish 1000 YouTube videos, write 1000 articles and I failed in each of them.
Initially it depressed me but later when I looked back they all turned out to be my successful failures.
Imagine if I hadn’t even decided to take any steps. There would not be any progress at all.
I made a progress because I had set a goal but the goal was so big that I couldn’t achieve it but I achieved some instead of nothing.
Days ago, I was discussing with a cousin of mine this concept. He was actually frustrated with his life.
He says he was in depression which I believe is pure exaggeration.
People who are in depression have severe problems I believe and it is a clinical condition so in my opinion he was not having it.
He is just unable to take any action. When you are not taking action, everything confuses you. Your mind moves in all the direction and you get a feeling that you are depressed.
It is at this time that you have to hold few of your thoughts, write them discreetly on a piece of paper and follow them regardless of whether they will be successful or not.
What matters most is that you are doing something.
Now I understand why all gurus and historic people and God verses talks about doing rather than thinking about the outcome.
No matter what outcome you imagine, the outcome will never be according to your expectations.
It will keep changing based on your effort and directions of efforts. Direction matters because new knowledge often changes the direction.
It is better to fail and do something rather than not do anything at all.
